Free Brand Drops are first-come, first-served. Any creator who meets the follower requirement can apply, and once approved by LinkCaddie, their spot is locked in. You then ship the product to every approved creator — no picking and choosing. This is the fastest way to get your product into creators' hands for content.

How Free Brand Drops Work

Create a drop campaign

Hit + New Drop and fill in the product, spots, follower minimum, and task. This is exactly how your drop appears on your dashboard once active:

LinkCaddie reviews and publishes it

Your drop goes into Pending Review. Once approved (usually within 24 hours) it goes live and creators can apply.

Creators apply — spots fill automatically

Once your drop is live, creators who meet the follower minimum can apply. Each application is reviewed by LinkCaddie, and once approved, a spot is filled. When all spots are filled, the drop closes automatically. It's first-come, first-served.

View applicants and ship the product

Click View Applicants to see who was approved. Each applicant shows their name, email, and shipping address. Click Show Portfolio to check out their media kit. Ship the product to the approved creators using their shipping info.

Mark complete when done

Once the creator has received the product and posted their content, click Mark Complete. If you need to nudge them, use the Send Reminder button to send a friendly follow-up email.

Post a deal

Hit + New Deal and set the title, compensation, task, and requirements. This is exactly how your deal card appears on your dashboard:

Review applicants

Click View Applicants. Each creator shows their name, email, and shipping info. Click Show Portfolio to see their full media kit — bio, social platforms, featured videos, and audience size — before making your decision.

Accept and email the deal details

Click Accept and an email composer opens with all your deal info pre-filled — title, compensation, and requirements. Add your timeline, how compensation will be handled (Venmo, PayPal, etc.), and any content expectations. Then send.

If you click Not Selected, you can optionally send a polite email to keep the door open for future deals.

You can always reconsider a creator you previously passed on by clicking the Reconsider button.

Mark complete when the deal is done

Once the creator has posted their content and you've sent payment, click Mark Complete. Need to follow up? Use the Send Reminder button to send a friendly nudge.

LinkCaddie takes 0% — your deal is directly between you and the creator.

Creators apply through your link

When a creator clicks Apply Now they go directly to your affiliate signup page. You handle approvals on your side — LinkCaddie drives the traffic to you.

Make sure your apply link points to an active signup page. A broken link means creators can't join.

Pause or update anytime

Toggle your listing off to pause new applications. Any edits you save update instantly in the directory — no re-approval needed.
